You can explore a sample question, read and search saved entries, view or remove existing photos, and make or restore backups without an active subscription. Daily questions, saving or editing reflections and moods, adding or replacing a daily photo, five-year comparisons, and collages require an active trial or subscription. Monthly and annual plans include the same features. The app shows the current store price before you subscribe.
Eligible accounts may be offered a 14-day free trial when available from their store. The app and store confirm eligibility, the price after the trial, and the first billing date before you subscribe. The selected monthly or annual plan renews automatically unless you cancel before renewal. If you are not eligible for a trial, the app shows ordinary subscription pricing.
Your saved memories stay readable and searchable. You can view or remove saved photos, export your writing, and make or restore backups for free. An active trial or subscription is needed to save or edit reflections and moods, add or replace photos, or use comparisons and collages.
Backups are separate saved copies, rather than live syncing between devices. After you choose to connect your cloud account, automatic backups run while the app is open and when you return to it. An iCloud backup marked as prepared may still be uploading. You can restore a backup to recover your memories; the app does not promise backups while it is closed.
Your writing and photos are saved on your device. Free, optional backups save a separate copy to your own iCloud account on iPhone or Google Drive account on Android. You can also save a complete backup file. The app does not add its own encryption to your journal or backup files. Removing the app can remove local memories, so keep a completed backup.
It’s for parents and adult caregivers. The questions leave room for different families, ages, and experiences. Reflect on one child or your family as a whole.
